Alright let’s get down to the reason I’ve gathered you here today: my brand spankin new TOOTHBRUSH. This is not any old toothbrush, it is the cariPRO ultrasonic toothbrush by Smile Brilliant. They graciously sent me one of these bad boys to try out and share my experience with you all so thank you Smile Brilliant, you guys are awesome!
Before I begin raving on about this new magic thingy, let me tell you a little about my oral history. If I have to be honest, brushing my teeth had to be one of my most hated things growing up and it showed for sure because as a teen I had so many cavities that I had to have filled and even had two root canals. Being a lover of all things sweet and yummy, I should have been giving my teeth extra love but you know, sometimes you just gotta learn the hard way. I’ve gone back and forth between soft bristle to hard bristle, electric to manual for yeaaaaars and I guess I never found the right match until now.
The cariPRO is a rechargeable electric toothbrush with five settings and a self-timer for two minutes that pauses every 30 seconds to let you know when to change to a different spot in your mouth. I have never felt more accountable to spend two minutes brushing my teeth everyday.
So my first time using this toothbrush, I have to admit that the ultrasonic vibrations tickled my teeth but I quickly got over that feeling. I was used to the battery operated ones that had one setting and can tend to be abrasive to my poor gums. None of those problems with cariPRO with their FIVE settings. Alright let me tell you about these settings:
CLEAN: This will be the standard mode when you first hit the power button. This was a little bit stronger than what I’m used to since my gums and teeth are pretty sensitive but I’ve slowly been building my way up to this setting. It definitely makes my teeth feel squeaky clean after this cycle.
WHITE: So this is actually going to be the most powerful mode and the super super deep cleaning cycle like washing your white with bleach! This setting is definitely stronger than the other modes so I’ve tried to use it sparingly but afterwards you get that feeling you get when you walk out of the dentist’s office.
MASSAGE: This setting consists of gentle pulses that massage your gums for all the TLC they need. Should be paired with the CLEAN setting or SENSITIVE setting for a full clean.
GUM CARE: An extra setting that cleans along the gum line after that sweet massage! Also should be paired with the other cleaning setting to get the full effect.
SENSITIVE: Ah my favorite setting! I’ve had issues with my gums bleeding with previous electric toothbrush but this setting is gentle enough and fun enough for me to stay on top of my oral health.
I’ve definitely fallen in love with this new toothbrush of mine. I honestly don’t know how I can ever go back to a manual toothbrush! Something that also is pretty great for me personally is that I took cariPRO with me for my weekend trip to Vegas and I didn’t have to charge it ONCE. According to the handy dandy manual, a fully charged toothbrush will go 30 (let me repeat that… 30!!!) complete brush cycles without another charge. Don’t know if I would need to go that long without charging it (I’m that person that will charge her phone at 80 percent just because I get paranoid LOL).
From the first week I started using this product, I immediately noticed how much whiter my smile was and feeling clean and fresh helped boost my self confidence. A brighter and whiter smile sounds good to everyone doesn’t it?!
On top of all the functional benefits is the sleek look of the toothbrush itself! It looks so nice and clean on top of my bathroom sink and somehow fits in perfectly with the grey aesthetic we have going on in there. It’s like it was meant to sit on my bathroom sink…
